Fundraising at the Parish Centre
The centre is ideal for fund raising events. On Saturday 15th November 2008, a Christmas Fair was held and thanks to everyone's generosity a considerable sum was raised towards for the centre's own funds. A family portrait photographer from Visual Events was very popular. Lots of people will have had lovely family portraits for Christmas.
Lots of children visited Santa Claus in his special grotto, there was a raffle with loads of donated prizes, plus lots of stalls from local businesses, craft activities for the kids, coffee, tea, home-made cakes and much more fun!
Many groups and organisations are now using the Parish Centre to raise funds for their use or for the many good causes supported by them - please call in or contact us by 'phone if you wish to plan your event
